The Sunbeam Sports Car Club of South Africa was formed in 1978 and welcomes anyone who owns or has an interest in all Rootes vehicles.

Monthly meetings are held in the Gauteng area and members are always encouraged to use their cars.

Family participation is encouraged and annual weekend trips are arranged.

The club offers a free monthly magazine for members and acts as a network for finding spares, selling or swapping cars, technical advise and assistance with dating your vehicle.

Insurance companies also offer reduced vehicle insurance if you are a member of a SAMCA affiliated club.

The club has accumulated a sizable cache of spares for various models/years of Rootes vehicles.  These spares are available to members at a discount via the Spares Secretary.
